Safety

Even though you’re fully vaccinated, precautions are necessary to help prevent exposure and transmission. At minimum, you must wear a mask over your nose and mouth on domestic flights—but that’s not enough. Based on our research, the following tips are strongly recommended:

  • Double-mask or wear an N95 mask.
  • Wear a face shield or glasses (yes, really).
  • Avoid eating or drinking on the plane, or eat when fewer people are unmasked, and keep your mask on between sips/bites.
  • Wash your hands often.
  • Carry hand sanitizer (TSA is allowing one liquid hand sanitizer container up to 12 ounces per passenger in carry-on bags until further notice).
  • Maintain physical distance as much as possible while in the airport, especially while eating/drinking.
  • Bring your own snacks and water bottle—fewer touchpoints, fewer germs.
  • Enroll in TSA PreCheck. It means less time standing in crowded lines AND not having to put all your belongings in a germy bin.

    Stay

Wanna stay near us? We recommend finding hotels or Airbnbs in:
    - Burbank
    - Toluca Lake
    - Studio City
    - Valley Village

    Fly

Staying near us? Prefer a more intimate airport? Fly into BUR. Otherwise, use LAX. Ignore all the other SoCal airports the internet may suggest.

    Ride

Rumor has it rental cars are a hot mess these days, so book early! Flyaway is a cheap express bus between LAX and Downtown L.A. or the Valley. Train or bus might be options, depending on where you’re staying. Uber/Lyft tend to get spendy in such a big town. Message us if you need specific advice.
